Chris Hardy has travelled widely and after many years in London now lives in Susex. He has been publishing poetry for over 35 years and his work has appeared in numerous poetry publications and websites in the UK, also elsewhere. This is his fifth collection. As well as writing poetry Hardy is also a guitarist and songwriter. He is in LiTTLe MACHiNe, who perform their settings of poems at literary events in the UK and abroad.

His most recent collection was Sunshine at the End of the World (Indigo Dreams, 2017). Roger McGough said about the book, “A poet as well as a guitarist Chris consistently hits the right note, is never off key.”

“The acute poems of this collection…cherish their ghosts… memorable lines with strength and tenderness.” – Alison Brackenbury, of Sunshine at the End of the World.

“Chris Hardy writes with his reader in mind…These are poems about the slide of strings on a fretboard; sensual, tactile, full of smells and colour.” – Deborah Alma, The Emergency Poet, The Poetry Pharmacy, Bishops Castle.
